Cross Training
Instructor: Matthew Scraper

Cross Training at Stroud UMC is an opportunity for students (Grades 1-6) to learn the discipline, self-respect, self-restraint, and personal motivation that comes from the study of the stylized martial arts. Students have the opportunity to study Kujutsu under Rev. Matt Scraper, a ranked black belt and certified instructor. The study of kujutsu as presented by Rev. Scraper is firmly grounded in the lessons of scripture, and teaches students a healthy respect for themselves, for authority, and cultivates a deep love of Christ as revealed in scripture. Each class session begins and ends with prayer, and each student is encouraged to be on the lookout throughout the week for "God sightings," moments when they see the love of God at work in the world. Classes are absolutely free as a ministry of the church. For more information, contact the church office.

Classes are offered on Wednesday Afternoons
3:30 - 4:15 pm
